ytd's youth service was really good :)) andy and jane from OM came to share about their experiences working onboard the ships, and how they go about serving god and his people in the different countries they go to. it's really kewl how god brings people back to him. and i believe its extremely fulfilling having a job that serves him. you've got to make sacrifices, though. andy told us to just commit our entire lives to Him and see where he leads us.. hmm i wonder what plan god has for me. andy ended the session with the proverbs 19:21 verse. and i was just reading briomag online and there was this article that talked about exactly the same thing!!

here's a section from the article:

Proverbs 19:21 says, "Many are the plans in a man' s heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." As long as you and I stay focused on Him, we're in His will. Let me encourage you to pick out the Bible verses you've read since you colored pictures of Jesus in Sunday school and read this again . . . this time with your heart. If you're new to God's Word, have some fun really exploring it (some of my favorite verses are in Philippians) and reading the words until they define who you are: a beautiful and amazing woman of God.
Scripture is a vital and total link to our Creator. He's given us this gift for a reason. Memorize it. Stick it in your locker and on your mirror. Write it on a notebook. Send it in a card. But most of all, let's let it sink into our hearts and change us into His image.

guess i should continue to read his word, and cast my cares unto God, my maker :) afterall, like Psalms 139 reads, I am fearfully and wonderfully made!!
