!BREAK THAT THANG

Monday, August 08, 2005
oh hi. haha. i still havent got over the nj interview yet man. seems like thats all i can talk about but oh wells.
it turned out fine!! :) hahaha. and i've really gotta thank god about it, cos i could definitely, definitely sense his presence throughout! it's like there was this something leading me on, and telling me what to say. plus the questions were like sooo much easier than my other friends man. at least they asked me stuff that were answer-able, like what made me decided to help the kids at henry park, why i'd rather nj to dhp and why i joined track, blahblah. at the end they asked " if you were to come into njc, would you continue with your community work??" i said " of course." hee. the interviewers looked kindda scary, especially this indian man that sat there sulking the whole time. but they're actually really nice!! like after the interview, mr manon ( i think thats how its spelt.) came out and started joking with all of us. and he was like " you mean u'd reject us just cos of my look? dont worry, i'll change." hahaha :D the nj environment's really different! i could really feel this family- like atmosphere there cos the people are so uber nice. and the teachers really have this close bond with the students man. feels almost like henry park again!! and so i shall commit this whole interview to the hands of god, cos i know he has a great plan for me! :)

we sang this song in church ytd, and it really made sense, cos i'll trust him no matter.

Blessed be your name
In the land that is plentiful
Where the streams of abundance flow
Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be your name

Every blessing you pour out,
I turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say...

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your glorious name

Blessed be your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's all as it should be
Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name
On the road marked with suffering
Oh, There's pain in the offering
Blessed be your name

Every blessing you pour out,I turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say...

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your glorious name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to stay
Well Blessed be your name
